Specific Job Focus: On behalf of the Marcone Group, in collaboration with all internal & external teams, manage the execution of strategic sourcing and procurement related activities. Based out of Speakman China with significant travel within China and other South East Asian countries required.

General Objective: Seek new suppliers for Marcone Group, assessment of Supplier capabilities, negotiation of contractual and commercial terms, supply-chain transitions, and on-going support to supply chain related activities. Lead commercial side of Cost saving and performance related continuous improvement projects in the area.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional Skills:
1） Project management of specific sourcing initiatives in close co-operation with Engineering/NPD/Quality/Purchasing colleagues – including:
? Generating of project plan, align contents with both MARCONE stakeholders and supplier.
? Ensure project progress is in line with requirements.
? Introduction of specific expertise where required （either from MARCONE or third party）.
? Maintain an appropriate level of communication with MARCONE stakeholders with respect to progress.

2） Identify, recommend potential suppliers – lead team to qualify suppliers against Company’s requirements. Lead/participate/support research & analysis of out-sourcing or in-sourcing initiatives.

3） Develop regional supply-base expertise - maintain a broad view and strong understanding of regional supply opportunities and specialisms, ensuring the business benefits from lowest total costs at acceptable and manageable level of risk.

4） Facilitate transfer of definitive product/purchasing specification from Business Unit to supplier.

5） Conduct or facilitate supplier price and contractual negotiations.

6） Supplier development - utilizing best practice tools and techniques including assessment, continuous improvement, and measurement processes.

7） Participate in and where necessary drive cost-down and supply process improvement initiatives on a multi-functional Team basis. Work closely with Quality Assurance colleagues to ensure effective quality management as a high priority and quality compliance is achieved and maintained.
8） Assist in resolving supply chain issues, proactively recommending and driving improvement activity to avoid recurrence.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1） Bachelor’s degree in Science, CPM or CPSM or equivalent

2） Possess a balance of both commercial （business） skills and technical expertise, ideally from a purchasing or product development background with experience of working in the Chinese and/or South East Asian supplier base.

3） Strong communication skills – effective at all levels of both supplier and organizations.

4） Good English – Written and read, good oral English is a plus

5） Effective project management skills, including associated tools and techniques.

6） Good data analyzing skills.

7）〉 5 years’ experience of Sourcing, product development or Supply Chain management

8） Good working knowledge of quality assurance standards, tools and statistical techniques.

9） Sound understanding of international logistics.

主要工作内容：开发/批准适合公司战略的新供应商，评估制成能力，主导商务/合同谈判，项目管理，供应链移转及持续支持。管理新产品开发项目中新供应商相关业务，主导区域范围内成本节约及其它持续改进项目中采购相关业务

1）与工程/质量/采购部门合作，管理新供应商开发或移转项目，包括:
? 制定项目时间表.
? 确保项目进程符合项目及公司要求.
? 利用个人专业知识及特长，帮助项目按期完成.
? 帮助供应商或团队获取需要的相关知识/制成能力.
? 维护维系系统内团队间及时有效的交流.

2）识别/推荐潜在供应商 – 带领团队根据公司需求验证供应商，在采购决策中参与/支持调研及分析.

3）开发区域内相关供应链，深入了解区域内供应链优缺点及相关机会，使公司在控制风险的情况下能够获取相应的低成本，同等或更高质量的产品.

4）帮助/促进产品及采购标准在供应商处的转化.

5）主导/促进与供应商的价格与商务条款的谈判.

6）运用最优方案进行供应商开发- 包括公司成功经验，技术与技巧，持续改进和考核工具.

7）参与成本节约及供应链流程改进项目，协助质量部门保证供应链中有效的质量管理及产品合规.
8）协助解决供应链相关问题，合理预判并采取有效措施避免问题重复出现.

教育背景及工作经验

1）工科学士，采购或供应链管理及同等学力

2）拥有对商务条款的良好了解及运用能力，理解工程技术问题并具有一定的指导/解决问题能力。理想候选人为采购或是产品开发 & 采购工程师。对行业内供应链较为了解或是对区域内加工工业/工艺有一定了解。

3）善于交流-特别是在供应商的不同管理层内能够有效交流

4）英语书写阅读流利，口语流利优先

5）良好的项目管理能力，能够熟练应用相关软件及工具

6）优秀的数据分析能力

7）五年以上相关工作经验

8）熟悉质量控制理论理念，了解相关工具

9）熟悉国际物流相关知识
